Calvary greetings to you all in Jesus name.
As we come to the end of another successful session. I say a big thank you to our esteemed parents. While there have been some challenging economic factors in Nigeria over the last few months, I would like to take this opportunity to say how much we appreciate your continued support. May the almighty God continue to bless you.
RESUMPTION
All our students are to resume on the 16th September, 2017{Except for SS3 students} Failure to resume on that day {10:00am to 5:00pm} will attract a fine of five hundred {N500} naira for each day {see school rules and regulations} and severe punishment. No student will be allowed into the hostel on Sunday.
SS3 STUDENTS ARE TO RESUME ON SUNDAY, 3TH SEPTEMBER, 2017 BEFORE 5:00PM.
Extension for SS3 students commence on Monday 4th September, 2017. All SS3 students are to come along with their fees as they resume. [They are free to come with provisions that will last for the two weeks extension period.].
PRIVATE LESSON
With reference to the issue of private lesson discussed in the last PTA Congress meeting which was inconclusive. The school has suspended private lessons pending final decision of PTA on the matter, parents are therefore advised not to pay any teacher for extra lessons.
IT PACK
The school in conjunction with an IT firm will be organizing a special computer training next term. Interested parents are to pay Five thousand eight hundred {N5, 800} only for the programme.
EXTERNAL G.C.E
All SS2 parents are reminded that Registering/writing of Private SSCE is against the school rules; any student who contravenes this will be expelled.
MOBILE PHONES
It has been discovered that some parents are still in the habit of giving their wards handsets for use in the school. Any students caught henceforth with hand set will be suspended from the school for two weeks and will be punished for One Week after the suspension; this is in addition to seizure of such handset.
UNIFORMS
The school has abolished the use of coloured sweater. It is compulsory for every student to wear the school sweater only. Extra sweaters should be purchased on resumption for those who do not have.
All female students are to resume with a pair of black underwear each for their personal use.
SCHOOL FEES
All school fees are to be paid in Bank Draft in favour of Emmanuel International College, Jos on resumption. No part payment and letter of undertaking will be allowed this term. All fees must be paid before the child is allowed into the school on resumption.
CASH PAYMENTS are to be made in any branch of Diamond Bank using the attached TELLER. Please, note that this is different from the usual school fees in Bank Draft. Details of what to be paid are highlighted below.
Text books for SS1 – SS3 will be available for purchase from the publishers in the school on resumption day. Please prepare to buy for your ward{s} the compulsory ones only.
We wish to encourage parents to take their children for medical checkup during the holidays, engage, advise and encourage them to read books that will build them up intellectually and spiritually.
We pray that the Almighty God will keep and protect our children and parents in Jesus name.
